A sightseeing tour to discover the city of Grasse and the countryside of the French Riviera including the provençal village of Saint Paul de Vence
Tour 3 (Half day tour 4 to 5 hours)
Drive through the countryside to the old medieval village of Saint Paul, walk through the old gate of this fortified village and stroll through the narrow pedestrian streets and discover its numerous art galleries. Drive to the old medieval village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup, known also as the city of violets, strolls around the narrow middle age streets and discover the numerous artists and craftsmen workshops, weavers, potters, jewellers. Drive through the hills to Grasse, known for two centuries as the capital of perfumery, home of the painter Fragonard, climatic resort in the 19c.. Stroll around the streets of the old town and discover the numerous middle age buildings, its Cathedral (hosting 3 painting of Rubens), visit the Fragonard perfume factory, where you will be able to shop, visit the private collection of perfume containers and the museum of the provencal costume.
